Sahaya Anto Robinson S is an experienced Software Engineer III at PayPal with a strong background in backend development, particularly in the telecommunication and banking domains. With almost a decade of experience in the field, he has honed his skills in software engineering and has become proficient in various technologies such as SQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spring Boot, Spring, and microservices. Currently, Sahaya is focused on learning and contributing to the fintech domain, which is why he joined PayPal. As a Software Engineer III, he is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's software systems, ensuring that they are scalable, maintainable, and performant. Before joining PayPal, Sahaya worked at TCS as an Assistant Consultant, where he was responsible for microservices design and development using REST APIs and Spring Boot. He was also involved in creating unit test cases with the Groovy and Spock framework, creating SQL queries, and Hibernate entity associations for the Oracle database. In addition, he replaced the embedded Hazelcast cache with a Redis cache to ensure data consistency during scaling. He also implemented adapter, stream Kafka services to migrate from legacy MQs to event mesh architecture. Sahaya also configured GCP build pipelines and deployed services to the Openshift Kubernetes platform using uDeploy. He analyzed production issues with Splunk and container logs, and provided permanent fixes. Prior to TCS, Sahaya worked as a Technology Analyst at Infosys. He graduated from Jeppiaar Engineering College with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
